Introduction to SEL

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is an essential part of holistic education

today, yet it is often viewed only through the lens of students. This sessiongently shifts the focus to educators, recognising that SEL begins with us.

Through simple reflections, relatable classroom scenarios, and simple tools, participants will be introduced to the core competencies of SEL and their relevance. Designed to be reflective yet comfortable, the session will offer educators a space to explore how their own emotional awareness and responses shape the environment without feeling overwhelmed.
